POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

To ensure a great experience from start to finish please read before booking. Failure to comply to the policies may result in cancelled appointments and fees assessed.

New Clients

A new client is anyone new to the studio or a client not serviced in the last 12 months. I ask all new clients to book the New Client Experience with the exception of small children.

Please email hello@cleancurlstudio.com to inquire about booking kids cuts.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your time.

If you are unsure of which length of time to book, please reach out. It is important you are booked for the correct amount of time. Only after your initial appointment will I accept new hair color clients.

After booking check your text for the GlossGenius link to fill out your appointment form. This is a short questionnaire about your hair.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

If a cancellation or date change is necessary, I require a minimum 48 hour notice. If an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 48 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the service amount and the $50 non-refundable deposit will be forfeited.

All services must be reserved with a credit card.

A credit card is required to be kept on file for the cancellation policy.

In fairness to all clients this policy is in effect regardless of the reason for the cancellation.

To cancel or reschedule use the GlossGenius link in your appointment text or email. Please avoid cancelling your appointment via text, email, Instagram or Facebook.

Preparing for your Appointment

Please arrive with first or second day curls that are detangled, defined with product and dry.

In their natural state is best so, without twisting or finger coiling. Avoid pulling your hair up or back prior to your appointment as this can affect the shape or length of your cut.

Failure to do so may result in rescheduling your appointment and fees assessed.

Arriving to your Appointment

Your appointment starts at your appointment start time and finishes at your appointment end time.

To be respectful of everyone’s time, please do not enter the building more than 5 minutes before your appointment time.

Please do not bring extra guests to your appointment. The salon studio is a cozy space and can only accommodate scheduled clients.

Running Late?

As a courtesy please let me know if you’re going to be running 5-15 minutes late via text before your scheduled appointment time. You will always be notified if I am running behind, ahead of time.

In the case you're more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, your service will be shortened or your appointment will be cancelled, you'll be charged 50% of the service amount and will require a deposit of 50% for any future appointments.

SNOW EMERGENCY POLICY
Clean Curl Studio is located in Delaware County. If we are under a level 2 snow emergency or higher, I will close the salon, you will be notified as soon as possible and rescheduled. For my traveling clients, if your county or any counties you have to travel through are under a snow emergency your cancellation fee will be waived.

Level 1 Snow Emergency: salon will be open
Level 2 Snow Emergency: salon will be closed
Level 3 Snow Emergency: salon will be closed
